Mother’s Day Flower Basket Sale

It is time for the SSHS Music Boosters Mother’s Day Flower Basket Sale. These are 12″ hanging baskets filled with a variety of flowers. The baskets cost $25 each, and students earn $8.60. The flower baskets will available for pick up on Saturday May 13th between 9:00 and 11:00 outside of Rose Auditorium.

This is a great fundraiser if you still owe money for this year, or to get a head start on raising money for next year.

     Pink, Red/Lavender, or Red/White
• Ivy Geraniums (sun loving)
     Pink, Red, or Lavender
• Calibrachoa (mini petunias) (sun loving)
• Mixed Basket (sun loving)
Checks need to be made out to SSHS Music Boosters.
All orders are due in the Red Boxes by April 12th. Order forms should be posted on the Booster  website shortly but are also available through the email address below.

South Salem Jazz Night Auction

On Tuesday, May 23, South Salem Choir will be holding our first ever Jazz Night Auction Fundraiser, in the Mission Mill Spinning Room.  This event will feature the Southernaires in solo and ensemble performances in tandem with silent and live auctions. This fundraising effort will be put towards the entire choral program to assist with equipment, lessons, uniforms, travel, and many more student opportunities.  
Doors will open at 6:00PM with our first phase of the silent auction ending at 6:50 and music beginning at 7:00PM.  Tickets will be pre-sold and made available at the door for $10/adult and $5/student and seniors.  Included in your ticket is a seat at a table, dessert provided by Willamette Valley Pie Company, Coffee, the performances, and the ability to participate in the auctions.  Tickets are limited, and information will be sent out soon about purchasing pre-sale tickets.
For this event we are asking for table sponsors and/or donated items to be included in the auction process.  If you are interested in donating an item or being a table sponsor, please read the donation letter & form that outlines the benefits of being a sponsor and how to donate.  No donation is too big or too small!  While this event is put on by the Music Boosters, donated items do not need to be music related (ex. tickets to sporting events, AirBnB stays, legal services, etc).  
Additionally, we will be making an ask of student and parent volunteers to help our event run smoothly.  As this will benefit the entire program, we will be reaching out to all parents and students who can lend their talents to make this a special night.

Wreath & Poinsettia Sale Runs Through November 17th!

It’s time for the South Music Boosters Wreath & Poinsettia Sale!

For 2016, all orders are due November 17th and payments must accompany all orders. Checks must be made out to SSHS Music Boosters. Return all forms and payments to the red box.

Pickup is December 10th from 9-11 am at the north cafeteria.

Welcome to the 2016-2017 School Year!

The Music Boosters are a South High parent group whose goal is to support music education and the continued high quality of all music groups at South High. This group produces revenue for the general music program not met through the school budget. In addition they sponsor various fundraising opportunities for student’s individual music accounts. Parents receive direct communication from directors and the Music Boosters through email messages which relate directly to the specific group their student is involved in. Music Boosters has a tax exempt status under section 501(c)(3) of the IRS code and qualifies for a matching gift to the Oregon Cultural Trust.

Music Boosters meet the third Monday of each month at 6:30 pm in the South High Choir Room except for holiday weeks – then it will be the 4th Monday.
